How often should I use the Valour Mask for the best results?

For hair that is moderately dry or heat-styled, once a week is perfect. If your hair is chemically treated, bleached, or extremely brittle, we recommend using it twice a week until the hair’s elasticity and shine are fully restored, then transitioning back to a weekly maintenance schedule.

Does the mask help with split ends?

While the only permanent cure for split ends is a trim, the Valour Mask uses Wheat Germ Oil and Argan Oil to temporarily "seal" the frayed cuticle and strengthen the hair shaft. This prevents existing splits from traveling further up the hair and protects healthy ends from snapping.

Is it safe to leave the mask on overnight?

While 10–20 minutes is the optimal window for the 13-oil complex to work its magic, you can certainly leave it on longer under a shower cap for an ultra-deep treatment. The salt-free, paraben-free formula is gentle enough that it won't irritate the scalp or "over-proteinize" the hair.

Will the Valour Mask help protect my hair color from fading?

Absolutely. One of the main reasons color fades is a raised, damaged hair cuticle. The Sesame Seed Oil and Wheat Germ Oil in our formula work to smooth and "glue" the cuticle scales back down. By sealing the hair shaft, the mask effectively traps color molecules inside and reflects light for a more vibrant, "just-colored" look.

Is this mask safe for hair extensions?

Yes, provided it is applied correctly. Because it is salt-free and sulfate-free, it won't degrade the bonds or tapes. We recommend applying the mask only from the mid-shaft down to the ends of the extensions, avoiding the attachment points to ensure they stay secure while the hair stays soft and tangle-free.
